Blake Lively Texted A Pal About Justin Baldoni’s ‘Shocking’ Behavior

Blake Lively has claimed in her amended complaint that she voiced her concerns about Justin Baldoni‘s “shocking” behavior on the “It Ends With Us” set.

The actress also alleged that two of her female co-stars in the film could corroborate her claims as they also suffered uncomfortable experiences with the actor-director.

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has since slammed Blake Lively’s “underwhelming” amended complaint, claiming it is “filled with unsubstantial hearsay.”

Lively filed an amended complaint on Tuesday in her ongoing lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, where she made troubling allegations.

In the legal document, Lively notes that she texted a mutual friend of hers and Baldoni that the “It Ends With Us” director was acting like a “creep” towards her, among other claims, per PageSix.

The text in question was sent on May 24, 2023, in which the “Gossip Girl” star told the unnamed woman, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa . . . It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them,” referring to both Baldoni and Wayfarer co-producer Jamey Heath.

She also told her friend that she went home and “cried,” describing Baldoni and Heath as “creeps.”

“Like keep your hormones to yourselves. This is not mine. I don’t want it,” the alleged text read.

She also wrote, “I don’t want you [sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife,” referring to a video Heath showed of his wife giving birth naked, which Lively claims she “thought” was porn at first.

Lively concluded in her message, “It’s shocking. Clowns.”

She then claimed that her “inappropriate behavior” complaints were then reported to Baldoni, Heath, and Sony exec Ange Gianetti on May 26, 2023.

According to TMZ, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman seemingly slammed Lively’s updated complaints, saying it’s filled with “unsubstantial hearsay.”

Responding to the actress’s filing, Freedman said, “Our clients have been transparent in providing receipts, real-time documents, and video showing a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry-picked to the media.”

“Our clients have taken this matter and these issues very seriously notwithstanding the jokes made publicly by the plaintiff and her husband,” he continued. “Her underwhelming amended complaint is filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”

Freedman concluded, “Since documents do not lie and people do, the upcoming depositions of those who initially supported Ms. Lively’s false claims and those who are witnesses to her own behavior will be enlightening. What is truly uncomfortable here is Ms. Lively’s lack of actual evidence.”

Baldoni seems hellbent on disproving Lively’s allegations as he has opted out of having a mediation with the actress.

His lawyer, Freedman, recently appeared on the Hot Mics With Billy Bush podcast, where he gave an update on the actor’s mental health amid his legal war with Lively, revealing that he’s “grateful” to be with his family, as well as allow “other fire victims use his house.”

“But like anyone else who would be going through a situation where you’re accused of something that you did not do, and are suffering in a public way, I think it’s distressful, to say the least,” Freedman said.

The host then brought up the “alleged HR complaints” about the two women who claim to have experienced some form of misconduct with Baldoni, asking if the claims had been investigated.

“I think we’re looking into everything. It’s interesting. What are the dates of these complaints?” Freedman replied as Bush confirmed that names and dates had been ‘redacted’ from the complaints.

“I’m not really sure why the dates are redacted, that’s interesting. I’m unaware of any HR complaints that have been filed,” the attorney added.

In her amended complaint, Lively claimed that two female co-stars on the set of the film would provide testimony supporting her allegations against Baldoni.

Lively, who refused to name both women in order to protect their privacy, claimed that they’d also suffered uncomfortable experiences with Baldoni.

“Importantly, however, these victim-witnesses have given Ms. Lively permission to share their communications in the Amended Complaint as they are laid out, and they will testify and produce documents in the discovery process,” a spokesperson for Lively said, per the Daily Mail.

The “Age of Adeline” star’s new filing reportedly contains “significant contemporaneous evidence” that she was not alone in speaking up against the alleged on-set misconduct, along with “corroboration of her original claims.”

It also reportedly claims “evidence detailing the threats, harassment, and intimidation” of not just her but “numerous innocent bystanders.”

Lively and Baldoni have been locked in an ongoing legal battle after she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him in December before he followed up with a $400 million countersuit against her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as well as their publicist.

The pair have been going back and forth since then, with a judge setting a trial date for March 2026. However, the 37-year-old actress has now shared that the case is taking a negative toll on her four children.

According to Page Six, Lively claimed in her amended complaint that her children are “traumatized” by the legal war and have been “emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted their well-being.”

She also noted that she has stress symptoms and that her husband has been affected mentally and physically as well.

The Hollywood power couple share children: James, Inez, Betty, and Olin.
