Sometimes you just gotta call a spade a spade: You’re funny because you have family trauma. Listen, listen! That’s okay. We all carry our own passed down generational issues. Your parents were just kids once, and so were your grandparents, and your great grandparents and so on. We are all just humans trying to figure life out and learning from our mistakes. It’s beautiful, but yes, our anxieties, demons, and ticks can rub off on the people closest to us. So whether you had the most loving and caring parents in the world or completely absent ones, you’re most definitely carrying some subconscious thing that your parents accidentally past down to you that you have to do a lot of therapy to even recognize.Â

We are very pro-therapy. Why wouldn’t you want an educated non-bias third party person to help you organize your thought processes? It’s like opting to clean the floors with just the meaty part of your hand instead of getting a mop and bucket. We all need some outside tools to help us sometimes. That being said, everybody’s healing journey is different—some might just include intensive therapy, while others might include only bi-weekly therapy and… memes! Yes, memes can be therapy too.Â
